Terms of use

PLAY FAIR. BUILD TRUST.

These pilot terms explain the rules for using BoostPlay accounts, public profiles, Boost Goals and support features in plain language.

Pilot terms: these terms reflect the current product and should receive formal legal review before broad public launch.

Using BoostPlay

Use accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and only act for an athlete, guardian or club where you have the authority to do so.

Do not impersonate another person or organisation, create deceptive profiles, misuse another person’s images, or attempt to bypass BoostPlay’s age, guardian, club or payment controls.

Athletes, guardians and clubs

BoostPlay uses age-based authority rules. Under-13 athletes require guardian management. Athletes aged 13–17 may control sporting identity while an authorised adult holds financial authority. Clubs must be managed by an authorised adult representative.

A club roster connection gives sporting context. It does not transfer ownership of an athlete’s identity to the club.

Profiles and content

You remain responsible for content you submit, including profile text, images, highlights and goal descriptions. Only upload content you have the right to use and that is appropriate for the platform.

By publishing content on BoostPlay, you give BoostPlay permission to host, display and technically process that content as needed to operate and promote the relevant public profile and service.

BoostPlay may restrict or remove content or accounts where needed to address safety, fraud, impersonation, legal or platform-integrity concerns.

Boosts and payments

Where payment checkout is enabled, a Boost is voluntary support directed to a listed athlete, club or active Boost Goal. A Boost does not buy equity, ownership, team selection, playing time, employment, sponsorship rights or guaranteed access to the recipient.

The amount, applicable processing or platform charges and any optional tip should be shown before checkout. Payment-card processing is handled by the payment provider.

Refund requests are assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law. Contact support@boostplay.com.au with the relevant transaction details. Do not send full card numbers.

Boost Goals

Goal descriptions should accurately describe what support is intended for. A visible target is not a promise of sporting results, selection, travel, performance or any other outcome.

BoostPlay may pause or restrict a goal where recipient authority, safety, payment integrity or the accuracy of the listing needs review.

Safety and acceptable use

Do not use BoostPlay for harassment, exploitation, sexualised content involving minors, scams, unlawful activity, threats, hate, deceptive fundraising, malware or attempts to obtain passwords or payment credentials.

Safety concerns can be reported through public profile controls or at safety@boostplay.com.au.

Pilot availability and changes

BoostPlay is still being developed. Features may be changed, limited or unavailable while the pilot is operating. We may update these terms as the product, payment model and operating requirements mature.

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@boostplay.com.au.
